The Club has nominated the following events to be the Taranaki Championships:

Triathlon - Sunday March 20, 2011 Port Taranaki Long Course Triathlon to be held at Ngamotu Beach.

Duathlon - Sunday March 20, 2011 Mitchells Cycles Long Course Duathlon to be held at Lepperton.

The winner and placegetters must have been residents of Taranaki for the two months prior to the nominated race.

Championships shall be contested in the following categories:

Open Male
Veteran Male
Junior Male
Open Female
Veteran Female
Junior Female

The Club currently only awards trophies for the Open Male and Open Female Triathlon and Open Male and Open Female Duathlon Championships.

The winners of the Open Male and Female Championships and Trophy shall be the first male and female across the finish line regardless of their age category.

The winners of the Junior and Veteran Championships shall be the first Junior and Veteran across the finish line so long as they are not the winners of the Open Championships.
