About The Club :: Trophies

In addition to the trophy for the Taranaki Open Male and Female triathlon and duathlon Championship, the Club awards the following trophies each season:

Points Trophies

  • At the end of each season, points trophies are awarded to the member within each age category who has accumulated the greatest number of points in Club races over the season. Separate trophies are awarded for triathlon and duathlon points.

  • The winner of each points trophy is decided on the basis of the members best three results in Club races.

  • A member must have competed in at least two club events to be eligible to win the Points Trophy within their category.

  • A member aged 40 years or older or under the age of 18 years may before their first club race of the season elect to compete in the Senior age category for the season.
