1. Enter as an individual or as a team of two people.
2. Race registration & late entries definitely close at 1.45 p.m. on race day.
3. The race will be run according to Triathlon NZ rules.
4. All Marshall’s and Officials must be obeyed.
5. Competitors have a responsibility to know the course. This can be done by viewing the course map on the Club website or on display on race day.
6. Competitors are responsible for the safety of their bikes & must wear approved cycle helmets.
7. Competitors are responsible for their personal safety and must obey all the road laws.
8. No drafting permitted on the cycling section of the event.
9. All competitors must attend race briefing commencing at approximately 1.45 p.m.
10. Competitors must be 14 years or older. Younger applications will be considered only after written application from a parent or guardian.
11. Participants must be present at prizegiving to be eligible for spot prizes.
12. Participants may walk the run sections of the event but should enter the short duathlon.
13. The committee reserves the right to alter / amend / cancel the event or any discipline within the event if conditions are deemed unsuitable or unsafe
